“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” ― Mary Oliver Candace has been practicing for 20 years and believes that yoga is for every body.
She is interested in making yoga accessible and approachable for people who may have not felt comfortable stepping into a yoga class or studio. She obtained her RYT-500 at Wilmington Yoga Center. She also holds yoga certificates with Dr. Fishman in Yoga for Osteoporosis and the Christina Phipps Foundation -Oncology Yoga Teacher Training. Candace is the owner of Osteostrong Wrightsville in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is a trained herbalist, Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator and holds certificates in Integrative Health Coaching and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from Duke University and Plant Based Nutrition from T. Collin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. In 2025 she will be graduating from the Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Training program, a 2-year training in awareness and compassion-based practices with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
