Canella Mullins is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS). I became a student of yoga since 1997 and quickly found that yoga allowed me to exercise my body and mind in a way I’d never before experienced. I am grateful for years of practice with caring and devoted teachers whose strength and patience encouraged me to share yoga with others. In 2009, I graduated from Yoga Options RYS, where I studied and trained with Joanne Wahrer RYT E500 & T500 and registered nationally through the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour professional level.
In 2013, I completed an additional 20 hours of teacher training in Aqua Kriya Yoga, allowing me to share yoga with a population of students for whom practice on land may not be suitable due to injuries or other limitations. My students are encouraged to connect with their bodies in a graceful and accepting manner while exploring yoga as a path to relieve stress, combat fatigue, cultivate calm, find focus and inner strength. Classes are offered to challenge you while respecting where you are now.
