About
After many years as a yoga student, Cara became an instructor in early 2016.
Her classes may include anything from hatha flow, iyengar alignment, yin stretching, and restorative poses. Enjoy this unique style of movement with a focus on proper technique to deepen your practice. The development of Cara's personal practice and teacher training started at Sterling Yoga then attending a month long intensive with a remote studio to finish her teaching certificate. She also has attended Wanderlust Snowshoe many times to observe and influence her practice. Her adventures have included the 2016 Iyengar Yoga Convention in Florida, taught by Iyengar's granddaughter! To become certified as an instructor, Cara completed a 200-hour training program in hatha yoga. Instruction included studying asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing), anatomy, and much more. Her favorite learnings came from the practice of coordinating breath with movement. Private instruction available in the South Hills or her studio in Mt. Lebanon. More information can be found on her website.
