Born in Venezuela but raised all over the Americas, Carlos found Yoga during a big phase of change.
As he became more passionate about taking care of his body and finding its limits, Yoga Asana became the perfect complement to his usual weight lifting routines - the Yogic lifestyle provided a break from the stresses of corporate life. An avid believer in “movement as medicine” he believes in keeping a functional body to improve everyday life. Which drew him to complete his RYT-200 at Giving Tree Yoga, where he saw firsthand the accessibility of Yoga and its power to bring about functional movement. Always a goofball, he believes in seeking new challenges while retaining the ability to laugh at our falls. Whether through Yoga or weightlifting Carlos aims to inspire other young adults and professionals to find the best version of themselves, and strengthen their bodies through challenging but accessible classes.
