Among her multiple college degrees, Carly earned a Masters of Sacred Music degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, so that she could grow in her knowledge of sharing spirituality through the medium of music.
Because of her love of teaching and learning she went on to earn a Doctor of Education Degree from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. In her quest to embody spirituality in her life, Carly became a Certified Yoga Teacher in 2023. She teaches a unique self-development course entitled "Voicing You" which incorporates yoga instruction with vocal lessons to help students connect with, and express themselves more fully. In addition, Carly teaches Hatha Yoga classes through local park and recreation departments in her community. In her other work, she is on staff as a professional church cantor for many churches within the Diocese of Trenton.
