My yoga journey began at age 18 in Germany as part of my dance and martial arts training and continues today in the USA where I teach user-friendly, alignment based yoga in private, non-profit, fitness, corporate and workshop settings.
My M.A. in Contemplative Psychotherapy, Psychology is from Naropa University where I served as adjunct faculty for over ten years. As the yoga director for CAC/Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado for 15 years I developed and administered a highly successful yoga program for heated and non-heated yoga studios. I founded the Mind/Body Fair at the health club and created one-on-one yoga instruction. My passion is to educate yoga teachers and students. I shape yoga to the needs of the individual while building community. I am passionate about teaching hip, hamstring, quads and core exercises for all fitness levels. I teach regular workshops at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado with my yoga partner Dennis Tenney, Ph.D.
