I began taking yoga in 1998 and began teaching in 2002, receiving Yoga Alliance registration in 2005 and the designation "Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher" (E-RYT-200) in 2010 and completed RYT-500 in June 2020.
I have enhanced that registration by continuing education, including training at Duke University on yoga for seniors with physical limitations such as arthritis, joint replacements and osteoporosis. In addition, my studies have included yoga philosophy, chanting, pranayama (intentional breathing patterns), anatomy, and asana sequencing, primarily with Paola Feher in Bozeman but also with T.K.V. Desikachar, Brian Dorfman, Elise Browning-Miller. Yoga has been both a help and a joy for me. I hope to help you find out what it can be for you. Feel free to call with any questions. (406) 595-9642.
