Caroline wandered into her first yoga class at the Green Yogi in Manhattan Beach when she moved from Georgia to California, and her life was forever changed.
She took classes from some incredible teachers who showed her how to care for the mind, body and sprit through meditation, asana and yogic lifestyle. Caroline was so grateful for how her yoga teachers had given to her through their classes, that she wanted to give back to the community in the same way. She completed her yoga teacher training through Mukti Yoga School in Manhattan Beach under her mentor teachers. She began teaching studio classes and private sessions in the Los Angeles area immediately after. Caroline recently relocated to Washington, DC and is excited to share her teachings on the East Coast. Caroline has an affinity for music and loves discovering new artists and songs. This shines through in her yoga classes, which are heavily influenced by music that has inspired her lately. Caroline has always been drawn to teaching: from her B.A. in Psychology to her experience as a special education teacher. She now uses yoga as the channel to share this passion with students though breath, movement, meditation and music. Her classes and teachings are focused on cultivating self-love so as to shine love and compassion into the world around us.
