Carrie Loshelder is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance since April 2020, completing her yoga teacher training in December 2019 at Hapa Yoga located in San Diego, California.
By the end of December 2020, Carrie also completed her Reiki Master training. She currently resides in Denver, Colorado. Faced with navigating a new landscape shaped by COVID-19, Carrie created Totem of Light Wellness at the behest of her community members seeking connection in virtual spaces. It offered Virtual Yoga Classes for both private students and groups. After returning to work full time in the field of early childhood mental health and disabilities, Carrie decided to pause the creation. Currently, she is taking the time to recalibrate by diving deeply into her own practices. With more than 15 years of experience in the fields of social work and mental health with an emphasis on trauma-informed care, Carrie hopes to carve out a new journey that blends her background with her passion for holistic health to better support and equip individuals on their own journeys of cultivating positive mental health and well-being across body, mind, and spirit.
