Carolyn "Carly" Whitmore is a RYT- certified yoga teacher and a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program MMTCP  As a veteran her heartfelt aspiration is to provide yoga and meditation to the military and veteran communities As such she is continuously honing her trauma-informed skills having completed Dr Arielle Schwartz Applied Polyvagal Theory for Yoga for Trauma Recovery Levels - Veterans Yoga Projects Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery Training MRT and in her ongoing Yoga Therapy training With a Masters in Organizational Psychology Carly is also passionate about integrating yoga and mindfulness into the workplace and leadership development training In fact her masters thesis was entitled "Why Mindfulness Matters to Military Organizations"! In an additional credit hours at the doctoral level in Leadership Psychology Carly had neurobiology and neurophysiology education as well as extensive experience in academic research and writing You can find her on YouTube Instagram and Insight Timer under the @militaryyogini handle Carly is currently in an hour Professional Yoga Therapy training program with The Mindfulness Center She is available for teaching or collaboration online or in person especially with workplace and military/veteran populations or in research settings!.
