Catherine is a native of Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology from The University of South Alabama She began her yoga teacher journey in at Alabama Healing Arts under the direction of Kelly Laurendine Catherine completed a hour YTT with Kelly and went on to complete another hours of Advanced YTT earning a level Teacher Training in Iyengar inspired alignment focused Hatha yoga She has taught in studio environments throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties of Alabama In she trained and received certification in Mindful Resilience Yoga through the teachings of Daniel J Libby founder of Veterans Yoga Project She currently teaches public alignment focused and vinyasa yoga classes as well as teaches specialized trauma informed yoga to veterans through The Baldwin County Veterans Court System Catherine has two beautiful daughters and in her spare time loves to travel hike kayak and explore all that nature has to offer.
