Celia Child is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT, which means that she has completed her yoga teacher training at an active RYS Celia began her journey in yoga during high school in 2003 doing Rodney Yee DVDs after cross-country running meets.

She continued to practice yoga while riding horses professionally and attending university. At university, she studied in several countries and upon returning home to the United States she began her yoga teacher training. She completed her 200 HR RYT in Hatha yoga in 2013 at Infusion Yoga and Pilates. She has taught public and private classes since completing her 200 HR RYT. She teaches Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Anusara, Yin, and primary Ashtanga classes. She has worked with beginner yoga students to advanced yoga students, as well as with other professional athletes. She has over 30 certifications obtained within the last 15+ years in personal training, sports performance, meditation, pregnancy and fitness, women's fitness and training, weight loss, Core Pilates, Zumba, Soaring Crane Qigong, advanced marathon training, mental toughness and resilience, and NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming). She has coached world-class athletes as well as trained with various doctors and healers regarding peak performance, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and healing of the mind, body, and spirit and or energy systems.She's run over 20 marathons and various ultra marathon distances. During covid to avoid crowds she became an avid diver. She is certified as an advanced scuba diver and rescue diver. Celia has completed the "Anusara Bridge Program" taught by Rachel Bush and Shree Yoga Studio for the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, "Overhaul Your Chakras" Full Workshop with Anodea Judith, "Advanced Multi Style Yoga Teacher 300 HR RYT” with Siddhi Yoga International, and an additional 300 HR RYT with House of OM Bali. Currently she is completing her hours required as a Comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates instructor. Celia has completed all required courses and course work through Balanced Body master instructor Cindy Metcalf at University of Utah and Elevate Pilates. This includes: Reformer, Barrel, Trapeze, Mat, Chair and Cadillac certifications 1, 2, and 3. Celia also volunteers as a kid's and youth yoga teacher for various youth groups in her neighboring communities and has led various workshops in Utah. She is the Co-founder of Bengal Rescue, a hybrid cat nonprofit that rescues and rehabilitates hybrid cats in the USA, and Canada. She has volunteered with several other national and international nonprofits throughout the years including: Children's Miracle Network, Eagle Condor Humanitarian, Ascend Alliance Humanitarian, United Way, and Children's Orphanages in Asia with Utah State University. Celia believes yoga is practiced both on and off the yoga mat, in one's heart and daily life. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, reading, supporting others in achieving their goals, trail running, dance, creating art and music, and riding horses. She loves to learn and being student on and off the yoga mat.
