Chelsea loves to help people approach yoga who typically wouldn't; specifically due to their presumptions of yoga traditions and/or feel disconnection from their bodies.
Chelsea loves to blend traditional yoga practices with western culture. Using her engineer wired brain, heart for mental health and her own journey through PTSD, she has blossomed as a premier yoga instructor in her community. Chelsea grew up in a military home and joined the Navy in 2008 as a Nuclear Engineer. She completed Naval Nuclear Power training in 2010 and reported to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in 2011 deploying into WESTPAC upon her arrival. During her shore duty tour, Chelsea worked as the Legal Clerk for Naval Base San Diego until she was honorably discharged in 2014. Her work in the military honed her unique ability to take in large amounts of information quickly and intellectualize new ideas. She completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology at USF in 2019. The winter before graduation Chelsea completed her 200hr YTT at Screaming Buddha in Bradenton, FL. She began teaching immediately following graduation and has been teaching ever since.
