Cheryl is a registered E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, a Tier 2 Certified Baptiste Teacher, a licensed massage therapist, and the owner/director of Divine.
Her training is based on alignment, philosophy, and anatomy. She has extensive training with Baron Baptiste and the Baptiste Yoga Institute. Methodology, assisting and sequencing is a big aspect of her teaching. She is the creator of our complete teacher training syllabus which is registered with the Yoga Alliance. A training that she facilitates here at Divine twice a year. She believes the body needs to be supported so that it can work with us. She incorporates both relaxation and deep tissue techniques into her massage sessions to promote the body's ability to support itself. Here at Divine she empowers others and creates an environment where one can realize what they can do rather than focusing on what the can't.
