About
If we are speaking strictly yoga or Pilates…Creative sequencing is my jam, but I am always incorporating traditional elements of yoga such as Sanskrit, pranayama and drishtis.
Breathwork is a nonnegotiable, key element to every class I teach. Breaking down poses and accessible ways to arrive in them is very important to me.Intentionally & Creatively working towards a peak pose(s) while building peak flows is my fav and forte! Being mindful of not only breath focus & alignment, but leading with less intense variations and building from there so everyone has a place to ride is crucial. I love to push & challenge those that want it, while at the same time giving options for those that are needing less intensity in their practice. It’s important to me as a teacher that students understand ‘why’ it can be beneficial to be in any given pose in a certain way, and how their breath can change and enhance each pose. With that said, if you’re hanging with me regularly in my Vinyasa classes, you’ll often notice a weekly theme.. and you’ll find yourself becoming more confident in the poses and flows we keep touching on ( and yesssss… I Love love love chatarungas, so always expect those, also…. My playlists are fire 🔥)So… found yoga & Pilates via being peer-pressured into a class many moons ago.I was never previously interested in group fitness of any kind.
