I fell in love with the practice of yoga at my darkest season of life.
A dear friend persistently nudged me to take her class and when I finally showed up, I was a sobbing, blubbering mess, but all the lights went off in me and I knew with all of my being I was supposed to teach this to others. So in 2016 I completed my RYT 200 and my RYT 500 in 2018. I’ve always been passionate about helping others on their own journey to find wholeness within themselves and to create a healthy lifestyle, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. These areas are so interconnected and when one area is struggling, they all are. Insert YOGA here! Yoga teaches us to face ourselves, our limitations, our highs and lows and everything in between, to be present with ourselves, be challenged in all the ways, but most importantly to move all that stuck emotion and trauma out of our body through the simple, yet powerful connectedness of breath, movement, and stillness. You can truly get whatever it is you need when you show up on your mat. All the struggles and challenges we face as we flow in and out of poses and shapes, reminds us that we can face hard things off our mat too, and find peace in the middle of chaos. I love to flow and I really love the heat of a hot yoga room. You’ll often catch me finding ways to add playful movements to the beat and rhythm of a song and yet find a way to still the mind and body and let the breath shine. Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Non-Linear Movement practices are my jam. It’s my heart to create a space where you feel free to laugh, cry, dance, sing, grunt, breathe, and just simply BE! I love teaching, I love learning, and I am always excited to get on my mat with you!!
