Christina is a school teacher by day Martial Arts and Yoga instructor/studio owner by night mommy of two boys and wife hours a day seven days a week She brings creativity and compassion to her classes and knows how to meet her students where they are at whether it is in the classroom with her kiddos on the karate mat as a martial arts instructor or in the studio with her yogi friends  Christina has been practicing Yoga for over years to supplement her Martial Arts Training  She competed in National and International Karate tournaments and when she found herself unable to compete at that intensity she decided that she was going to open up her own yoga studio Christina received her Hour Teacher Training Certification through CorePower Yoga in In the same year she completed her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine In she completed a Hour Yin/Restorative training with Square One Yoga and through the pandemic continued her love for learning by completing a Hour Certification in Yoga for Athletes through Yoga Medicine In she completed her hour certification through CorePower Yoga  Her studio Agape Yoga And Fitness was opened in Through her passion for sharing yoga and her love for her community her studio survived the pandemic and her community continues to grow today Christina is also a th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and has been practicing the art for nearly years She along with her husband own a Martial Arts and Yoga Studio in Sacramento Her extensive background in movement based activities and her passion for enriching lives through the practice of yoga is what allows her to  bring an understanding of body mechanics alignment and thoughtful breath work to her creative sequences   Christina also holds a BA in United States History from the University of California Davis and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through Notre Dame de Namur in California She is also certified in CPR/ AED and First Aid through Sac CPR Working with souls is her lifes passion Her goal is to help her students find their center through mindful breathing and movement.
