Teaching is my passion.
I hold a master's degree in education and have been teaching or coaching for over 35 years: from gymnastics and college cheerleading to technology for children and adults. Teaching yoga and offering teacher training and continuing education to yoga teachers brings me so much joy. With over 10 years of experience teaching yoga, I am an E-RYT 500 and Professional Yoga Therapist certified by Etowah Valley Yoga's former Yoga Therapy Program led by Susan Hopkins (now retired). I love learning and am constantly honing my craft with daily study and practice. I encourage students to be ever aware of what is going on in their bodies and minds, and to find freedom within the asana through mindful movement.
