Chris McDonald is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT  with Yoga Alliance which acknowleges the completion of a yoga teacher training with the Registered Yoga School RYS of Subtle Yoga for Behavioral Health Professionals I first discovered yoga at a gym I was attending and was amazed at how calm and wonderful I felt after  I didnt go back until I found a local class that was focused on helping those with back issues through yoga  I was hooked!  This class taught me how to better manage my pain and use asanas to help build strength as well I began using meditation and breath work in sessions since I was a School Counselor  In I attended a yoga training for integrating it into sessions and that created a huge spark! I knew this was where I wanted to go to help more people  I learned how breath work is not enough for some people and using yoga postures can help change the nervous system and bring relief This lead me to Subtle yoga training and loved the gentle style and results from it  I look forward to presenting many more workshops classes and retreats in the future.
