Certifications held in various yoga styles such as: Restorative, Yin, Hatha, Meditation, Yogic Philosophy, Stress Reduction, Group Fitness, Silver Sneakers, Special Populations and CPR. Teaching Yoga is my part-time job. I work full-time as a Licensed Social Worker. My degree is in Social Work and Community Health. My area of expertise in the health care field and teaching yoga has been a great way to integrate my professional and personal interests. My training enables me to work with all ability levels. I have over 15+ years of creating custom yoga classes, workshops and yoga curriculum. My mission as a teacher, is to help others experience the joy of yoga, freedom of movement and body-awareness. Each class experience is distinctive , and will have a unique focus. Feeling comfortable, safe and building community is another part of my focus.
