Christine is a Hr Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance having completed her certification in through My Vinyasa Practice out of Austin Texas Christine began her yoga journey around after many years of dance training wanting to maintain her flexibility strength and balance She began teaching community classes intermittently a few months after completing the certification process Not long thereafter Christine was teaching two classes on a weekly basis leading community classes once or twice a month and even subbing for other teachers on their sick or vacation days Talk about jumping in head-first!! With her unique dance and fitness background Christines classes are typically a mix of balancing positions slow Vinyasa flows long and controlled holds and micro-movements that will challenge a seasoned practitioner yet be accessible to any new yogi Best yet there are moments of “play time” where she will slip in something entirely different or complex to push her students out of their comfort zones while ensuring they never quite take themselves too seriously while doing so Christine earned her -hour Yin Yoga certification in -hour Stand Up Paddleboard certification in July -hour Pranayama certification in October and hour Yoga Nidra certification in November She teaches aerial yoga in addition to SUPY vinyasa and yin.
