About
After years of chronic back pain, I discovered yoga and it changed my life in every way.
What began as a search for relief became a lifelong practice of healing, awareness, and transformation. I began my journey in a small Nashville studio with my beloved teacher, Betty Larsen, whose Iyengar-based approach grounded me in alignment, discipline, and self-inquiry. Under her mentorship, I apprenticed for several years while also exploring Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga, finding wisdom in both structure and flow.My curiosity led me to study many traditions over the past three decades, including Viniyoga, Yin, Kripalu, Power Yoga, Kundalini, Anusara, Bhakti, Mantra, and Tantra. Each has offered unique tools and perspectives that I’ve woven into a holistic, adaptable practice that evolves with life itself. With 30 years of teaching experience, my deepest passion lies in working one-on-one and in small groups to help students connect with their own wisdom, strength, and joy. My approach is deeply integrative, blending asana, breathwork, meditation, chanting, visualization, sound, coaching, and lifestyle alignment to support every layer of being - body, mind, emotion, and spirit.I teach from the belief that yoga is not just something we do, but something we live.My goal is to help students clarify what they truly want their lives to look and feel like - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally - and to support them in living those intentions with integrity and sustainability.Ultimately, I offer yoga as a pathway to self-trust, clarity, and freedom... a reminder that the light we seek has been within us all along. For more information about Holistic Yoga, Yoga Teacher Trainings, Private Sessions, or Immersive Retreats, please reach out. I’d love to connect.
