Claire Baum started yoga as an activity with her mom as a teenager but quickly realized that it improved her dancing and gave her access to her body outside the competitive environment of the dance world  Even as a young yogi she noticed that yoga is a practice accessible to all body types and ages This is something she still appreciates and honors about yoga as a practitioner and a teacher to this day She hopes that as a teacher she can show her students how yoga can help them have greater access to and understanding of their bodies and minds through the asana and prone Claire teaches an open level anatomy conscious class with movement and flow inspired by how she creates movement as a choreographer She pays attention to each of her students and gives a lot of assists both verbal and hands on She encourages her students to practice patience and understanding with where they are each day as they come into the room and helps them in their honest journey on the mat.
