About

Courtney found yoga in her 30s—after spending her teens and twenties battling chronic pain.

When she suffered a broken leg in 2021, yoga was key to her healing, physically and emotionally. Her yoga practice is focused on functional movement, aligning breath and body for the physical and mental strength to live life fully. Her practice regularly incorporates props and she is passionate about making yoga more accessible for students of all levels of experience. Courtney is a 200-RYT, earning her certification at Wildfire yoga, and is currently working on her prenatal yoga certification. She attended the University of Kentucky (B.A., History) and earned her J.D. at the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Courtney spent the first part of her legal career in litigation. She regularly trains lawyers and other professionals across the Commonwealth and nationally on well-being in the workplace issues. For the last decade, she has also regularly trained law enforcement on trauma-informed investigation techniques.
