About
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years.
In July 2014 I decided to quit my full-time engineering job and move. I wanted to take a few months off to travel and found a trip to Nicaragua for a yoga teacher training. I thought I would only be going to deepen my own practice but found I really enjoyed teaching as well as learning. After my first yoga teacher training, I started studying Thai massage (body work), which originated from yoga, and received my Level I and II Thai bodywork certifications. During this time I also started studying massage therapy and doing my own self study on the integration between our brains and bodies. I have been motivated by my own struggles to understand my body, and as I learn I want to share with others that knowledge in hopes that they can understand their bodies a little better, too. I am grateful to have had opportunities to learn, teach, and share yoga and massage all over the world and plan to continue to learn and grow and share. Enjoying life’s adventures. Always being grateful. kRtaJna. Sanskrit for gratitude.
