From a young age I was always curious about yoga But I never knew how to approach it until I bought my first mat in That is when I began my yoga journey I started out with DVD s until when I began researching yoga studios that offered yoga teacher training I wanted to learn more and to inspire others to get on the mat and experience the amazing benefits yoga has to offer mentally and physically So finally I decided to go to a studio close to me After talking with the owner of Janes House of Well-Being I knew it was the right place for me I began taking classes there in early and started teacher training in   After a year long training in the Dynamic Yoga Method a method created by Godfrey Devereux with the wonderful Robin Buck at Janes House of Well-Being and the amazing Matt and Holly Kreps from Shala Yoga Studio I received my hour yoga certificate and then without delay I became registered with the Yoga Alliance I was quickly sought out by a dear friend with MS who I teach private lessons to helping to get some of her balance and strength back I work at Sacred Movement as a yoga instructor and I also attend college at Lindenwood University Where I currently am working on my bachelors degree in Psychology and would love to eventually integrate yoga and psychology together I want my students to find effort in the postures but to find ease as well being able to take what they learn on the mat with them off the mat.
