Dan Deslaurier MAT/University of the Arts RYT- works as the lower school visual art teacher at Friends Select School in Philadelphia where he has nurtured the artistic growth of Pre-Kindergarten-fourth grade student artists for over twenty years Dans interest in Yin Yoga mindful meditation and self-care led him to Breathe for Change a yoga school and movement which enhances the health and well-being of educators students and entire communities Through the Breathe for Change Teacher Training Program he earned his certification as a yoga teacher and social emotional learning facilitator and is registered with Yoga Alliance In addition to his duties as a visual art teacher Dan currently serves on the Friends Select Schools Wellness Committee and offers Yoga sessions to the children families faculty and staff of his school community.
