About
Daniela Novati is a 500 Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
In her twenties she was studying to become a professional dancer. As part of the studies, she started to practice Yoga and Pilates. And soon started to teach them. A near-death car accident stopped her dancing career and she spent several months in bed and crutches. Yoga and Pilates were key for her physical and emotional recovery. Even if she still has pain related to her injuries, she never stopped practising them and even if she started a new career she kept teaching private clients as a second job. “Thanks to my experience I understood a key concept that drives everything I do: working on your body improves many aspects of yourself and hence, of your life.” Daniela says. Following this concept, in 2016 she decided to fully dedicate her life to share this understanding as a Yoga teacher. She travels between NYC, Miami, Bali, Thailand and Italy to study with teachers like Sri O.P. Tiwari, Paul Dallaghan, Arielle Nash, Jhon Tamayo, Dharma Mittra, Elgar Richard, Abbie Galvin and others. In 2019 she completed her RYT300 certification (200 hours in Pranayama and 100 hours in Applied Anatomy focused on Fascia), plus other RYT 500 in Atmananda Vinyasa Alignment. Her studies are mainly in Alignment, Pranayama, Applied Anatomy and Postural Movements. And she keeps on studying, evolving and sharing her discoveries on the body and breathing ! Today, she lives in Miami, and teaches Yoga and Pranayama privately and in several studios in the city. She also teaches workshops on Pranayama and Applied Anatomy in the USA and in Italy. Daniela's teaching is focused on alignment, breathing and feeling your body. She wants to help people to "discover" and improve the relationship with their body and themselves. And she believes Yoga is the best vehicle for it.
