About
I started my yogic journey in 2001 to recover from a car accident.
After a few months of doing yoga once a week, most of my physical symptoms had subsided or disappeared. During this process of healing my body with yoga, I found greater emotional balance and peace of mind. These benefits inspired me to become a yoga instructor. I am certified (500 hours) in Amrit Yoga and Yoga Nidra with over 4000 hours of teaching experience. I have studied with Kim Schwartz (Kriya Yoga) and M.G. Satchidananda (1st level Babaji's Kriya Yoga). Other styles studied informally include Kripalu, Kundalini, Vinyasa-Flow, and Yin. I view yoga as the ultimate spiritual pathway to one's true "Self" and as a platform for healing, achieving personal growth, and attaining higher spiritual wisdom. I gravitate towards the Hatha and Flow styles of yoga with Amrit Yoga's inward focus and meditative awareness. I believe without a doubt that yoga changes lives, and is the secret to living a balanced, happy, and healthy life. I am also trained in energy healing, mindfulness, life coaching, and certified as an Awakening Joy Teacher. I look forward to offering Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. Namaste.
