About
I fell in love with yoga when I needed a space to manage a major life transition that left me feeling anxious, sad, and avoidant.
I believed in the power of the mind-body connection, however, watching this come to fruition within myself was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve ever had. I knew that my holistic psychotherapy practice would greatly benefit from me incorporating this somatic experiencing to my services, and I trained to became a registered yoga teacher in both Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. My passion for helping people on their journey may have started out as a clinical social worker, and psychotherapist, but it gave me a foundation to provide support as a yoga teacher through guiding others toward fostering a greater sense of self—self-compassion, self- forgiveness, and self-love through their physical practice of asanas. I believe that my two focus areas beautifully merge together, to spark a fiery passion within the individuals that walk alongside me, on their own path to free their mind, and bodies, of painful and negative thoughts. Namaste. ॐ
