Dara first tried yoga to overcome lower back pain It worked Then yoga became a way to improve balance and flexibility She saw how she had incredible awareness and control over each muscle Everything had purpose everything had intention The meditative and mindfulness benefits then became clear After learning that yoga postures were only one building block of yoga practice Dara has further incorporated yoga philosophy into her life and with her students She helps them overcome fear create a positive relationship with their bodies be curious and do all of this with intention After years practicing yoga Dara completed her -hour teacher training at Yandara Yoga Institute with Christoper Perkins When not teaching yoga she runs Less Equals More a minimalist-inspired organizing business writes bikes and runs.
