ABOUT ME: Daryl "D" Rocco is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT a Vedic Astrologer and Ayurvedic Practitioner I welcome students of all levels and interests and uphold that every individual is essentially full and free My offering is to facilitate an unfolding of that full free nature in her students unique individual forms When my world got really small in I took my first yoga class and was comforted by how light and alert I felt afterwards I was able to come back to the stillness within and felt as if I was “home” within my body and community I didnt realize then but do now that yoga isnt just asana but it is a true expression of life Im not perfect in tracking that lifestyle but I do align myself with something much bigger than my own thoughts and try to be the the light that I also seek Yoga is really an introduction to this life I had been longing for I was so excited to learn more about how to still my mind and prepare for meditation through yoga practice I started my path of teacher training in I learned yoga asana in the Anusara and Prana Vinyasa styles where the guiding principles of alignment community and feeling from and into the heart provide a foundation for awareness in each of my classes My classes are a safe space for students to move deeper into their bodies desires and minds using a mixture of creative sequencing verbal and physical adjustments Knowing where yoga originated and how it is intricately weaved into all of the Vedic Sciences I was triggered to start down the path of learning about the cosmos and became a vedic astrologer Realizing that the elements are linked in all ways I continued down the ayurvedic path and became an ayurvedic practitioner as well These Sister Sciences of Yoga Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda are the basis for which I strive to express my life A forever student of life and connection to all things I am in deep gratitude to be able to share these teachings to other seekers on the path CERTIFICATIONS: Yoga Alliance RYT Anusara Teacher Training hours Levels - Shiva Reas Hour Prana Vinyasa ® Teacher Training With Affiliate Program Leader Kelley Doyle Graduate of New World Ayurveda as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in Certified Vedic Astrologer with the American Academy of Vedic Art in Sciences Levels - Teacher Certification - present Reiki nd Degree following Japanese Usui lineage since GET IN TOUCH: wwwsoulsankalpacom.
