Deanna began her teaching journey over 20 years ago offering group fitness and yoga classes while in college.
She continued her studies completing her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification in 2006. She has trained at Rasa Yoga School for the past seven years completing her Ayurveda Krama I certification and over 400 hours of training earning her Virarupa I Yoga Certification. Deanna received her 200 Hour Medical Qigong Instructor Certification through Zen Wellness and has seen the positive impact of Qigong practice for her students. She continues to study Zen Yoga, Qigong, Bagua, and other wellness practices with the Zen Wellness Master Teachers. She actively seeks to incorporate her knowledge and training (Eastern and Western) to enhance her self-practice as well as her teaching. For Deanna, helping students find connection to their breath while exploring strength, stability, and flexibility in their body is truly rewarding. She is a life-long student committed to helping empower others to achieve their desired level of wellness.
