Deborah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Over six years ago, Deborah discovered the power of yoga. Initially, she added Bikram Yoga to “shake up” a workout routine that included running, weights, and aerobics. What she discovered in yoga was much more than a great physical work out. She learned that the power of yoga brought peace and serenity – something that she didn’t even realize was desperately missing from her life. As an executive specializing in marketing/business development, Deborah has been entrenched in the corporate world for the past 15 years. Yoga has brought so much peace to her hectic, deadline-driven existence - she doesn’t know how she ever functioned without it! In 2013, she earned her RYT-200 certification from the Yoga Institute under Lex Gillan. Since then, Deborah has been dedicated to the concept of sharing the peace and tranquility that yoga evokes to anyone she can. She is so excited to share the power of yoga with her family, friends, and neighbors! Registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level, Deborah is also certified with the National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers, and a certified World Paddle Association (WPA) Class Level 1 Instructor in Paddle Board Yoga.
