As a Chicago native, Debbie was born with Crohn’s, a digestive disorder.
She instantly fell in love with the practice of yoga over a decade ago when she stumbled into a yoga class and realized it was the only thing that relieved her illness. Since then, she has been an avid yoga practitioner and yoga teacher trainer. Debbie started teaching senior yoga while owning an in-home senior care company. She continued to learn and teach various styles of yoga, power yoga, hot yoga, senior yoga and has completed multiple 200 RYT trainings and 500 RYT through Wild Abundant Life. Debbie loves cueing to the body. She believes that knowing the benefits of each posture holds great value and contributes to the power of the therapeutic benefits of yoga. Debbie encourages intuition, strength, and focus in her classes. When Debbie is not teaching or practicing yoga, she enjoys spending time with her 7 children, family, and gardening.
