Deborah Sheetz is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Initial certification in Integral Yoga, a classical hatha style, at the basic level, was completed in 2000, at Swami Satchidananda Ashram - Yogaville, with succeeding trainings at the Intermediate level, many weekend trainings, and stress management teacher training. Certification as a Yoga Nidra instructor was completed through Sivananda Ashram in 2014. Deborah has studied with many master teachers in recent years and looks forward to continuing her studies in a lifelong pursuit of understanding and applying the profound benefits of yoga practice. Deborah teaches regularly in the metro DC area at studios, churches, gyms, and senior centers. She also provides private individualized instruction. It is her joy to share the power of yoga as a tool for life transformation, holistic healing and everyday stress relief that can be enjoyed by anyone.
