DeJa Love is the CEO and Founder of The Black Women’s Wellness Agency, Inc, committed to the holistic wellness of Black Women.
DeJa received her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University and her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute. Her 16-year career includes the federal government, local government, academia, private sector, non-profit, and international development. DeJa specializes in population health, health equity, and the social determinants of health. DeJa’s passion for health equity was fostered during her two-year Peace Corps Volunteer service in rural Swaziland, where she focused on community health and development. DeJa has committed herself to creating innovative solutions that minimize healthcare disparities experienced by Black Women. When DeJa is not working, she serves her local community as a working member of the Board of Director at the Black Women’s Health Imperative, Docent at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum for African American History and Culture, Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, and is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine.
