She began practicing yoga in 2013 after discovering Yogi Nora on YouTube, an experience that sparked her passion for the practice. Desiree has been teaching for 10 years and has owned her studio for 9, offering accessible, sustainable yoga for beginners, women 40+, and students seeking a welcoming, non-heated environment.In 2015, she completed her yoga teacher training under the guidance of Travis Eliot and Daniel Head, whose influence shaped her teaching voice and laid the foundation for her path as a teacher and mentor. Today, Desiree leads regular classes, yoga teacher trainings, continuing education programs, and mentorship for both yoga teachers and studio owners. Her approach is grounded in kindness, connection, and community, with a deep commitment to creating inclusive and supportive spaces for practitioners of all experience levels. She also leads retreats and workshops that blend movement, philosophy, and practical tools for everyday life.
