I am a Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS I became a practitioner while teaching students with differential needs I had begun exploring yoga as a personal outlet from the rigorous discipline of dance I needed to engage in something just for me and yoga became that gift I had no idea yoga was more than exercise I soon realized how significant and personal this journey would become In I took my first teacher training and immediately shared what I was learning with my students What I found was the many opportunities yoga offered them as a tool for empowerment community and self-regulation The daily academic transitions were met with less resistance and they learned to respond rather than react to situations that occurred For years I observed the transformation each student was making and in decided to begin my teacher training for adults and specific populations Presently I teach retirees Plus Gentle Yoga and privates It has been a divine years of exploration study and personal growth.
