About
As a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at Justice Resource Institute, I am honored to offer individualized sessions, small group classes and workshops that emphasize the core elements of trauma sensitive yoga as an evidence-based practice in the support of healing, agency and connection.
In addition to yoga, I have over 30 years of experience in training and teaching dance, Pilates and functional movement conditioning. All of my offerings are informed by the depth of my experiences and education; however, the most important aspect of trauma sensitive movement is that it’s relational. I deeply value the shared authentic experience and the potential for trust established through an awareness of power dynamics, non-coercion and personal choice making. You are welcome to connect with me directly at [email protected] or through my website, https://www.trauma-sensitive-movement.com/.
