Donna Davidge is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500 HR E- RYT.
She has been teaching yoga full time in NYC since 1985. Donna (Amrita) has been teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1985. In 2003 she added other forms in the vinyasa Ashtanga lineage, teaching influenced by Dharmayoga, Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga primarily. She has also studied Restorative with Judith Laseter and teaches Nidra & Yin as well.She has taught tens of thousands of hours in NY City and been teaching in a small retreat setting in Maine since 1997 (Sewall House) summers where she was asked to offer trainings. In 2009 she taught her first training to a small personalized group of trainers. Until 2020 she offered trainings twice a year at Sewall House, her retreat center in Maine. She currently offers the trainings every Spring in June, as well as FEB at a Buddhist Center in Upstate NY with an equally experienced colleague. Donna/Amrita also produced products and online classes for home use and has written on yoga for several publications. Her Kundalini Chakra course can be found on Daily Om, she also has a YOUTUBE Channel. The retreat can be found on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. She has published a memoir about her healing journey with Yoga call Balancing with Bunions, on Amazon.
