She currently serves as Studio Director at Wild Oak Wellness in Fairfield, California.Dorene leads continuing education trainings for yoga teachers and wellness professionals, specializing in nervous-system-centered yoga, somatic sequencing, and embodied teaching methodologies that bridge modern science with mindful movement.Dorene is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from USCF and has completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through YogaWorks in Walnut Creek, California, along with 300/500-hour advanced teacher training through Yoga Tree in San Francisco, California.Her guiding philosophy is simple and inclusive: movement is medicine, and yoga is made for all bodies - it just doesn’t look the same in every body.
