My training began in October, 2011 with the completion of the Ananda Meditation Teacher Training. In order to expand the benefits of meditation, I realized it beneficial to have a deeper understanding of the physical side of a yoga practice. Having been a student of yoga for 30+ years, I studied to become a yoga instructor. I have taught yoga and meditation in spiritual settings for over 7 years. Since moving to Henderson, NV two years ago, I have been teaching at our local Sports Club and at Del Webb community center. I've created a program of meditation & yoga for athletes and have worked with golfers with tools to balance the body and increase mental focus through meditation. After seeing the benefits of a yoga practice with my clients, I became interested in working not only in class situations, but in private sessions as well.
