Elizabeth Brewer is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS One of my dear friends in the College of Public Health was a wheelchair user paralyzed from the chest down who knew I was a yoga teacher and fitness instructor She shared with me her dream of practicing yoga A few months later she passed away and in her honor I made it my mission in life to redefine disability with ability through movement I started the first yoga for disabilities program at the University of Arizona Through this experience I found that teaching was my dream job and here I am I came into this field discovering the importance of self-love and with my job I get to share just that Movement inspires me day in and day out Spreading the joy of movement is one of the sweetest gifts of my life.
