About
All bodies are not the same.
We each are unique, thank goodness, and yoga should not be a one-size-fits-all cage. In my classes I consider each student as an individual. I am a trauma-informed teacher, and I teach students how to work with injuries, disabilities, and other challenges to create a personal realistic yoga practice in a supportive, welcoming community. I also encourage able-bodied students to hone and deepen their practice. I came to this way of teaching naturally. My personal solitary practice began in 2005 long before I joined in-person group classes. I yearned for more knowledge, a more inclusive path that would allow me to practice even with health challenges. Beginning my teaching journey in 2018, I earned my preliminary 200-hour teaching certificate in the style of Integral Yoga. I completed advanced teacher training with Jason Crandell in 2021. I offer group and private classes live-streamed online where we have built an intimate, supportive community. At my booking site you will find an on-demand library of past classes, tutorials, and mediations. I also teach in person in the Metro Richmond Virginia area. I hope that you will come to meet us at Yoga N Place. We will be happy to see you. Yoga. In your own place. When you want it. P E A C E | S T R E N G T H | B A L A N C E
