About
Liz Moore is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200) and YACEP with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
She is also a Registered and Certified Group Fitness Leader with British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association. Liz graduated from Santiago State University with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and taught Grade 8 in Parksville, British Columbia for 20 years. She was a facilitator for both the BC Teachers Federation and the SPCA, advocating and promoting well-being and a balanced lifestyle. In her words: I has been involved in the fitness and wellness in both public and private sectors for over 40 years. As a passionate and lifelong learner, with a deep interest and focus on Yoga and Fitness for seniors., and as an elder myself of 75 years, I bring relevant and authentic experience, compassion, and a positive joie de vivre and light to my classes and workshops. Keeping it simple, acknowledging the wisdom each of us brings, honoring and respectful of individual uniqueness and needs ...and recognizing that all each of us truly long for is to be seen and heard ...and to feel love. “Breathe, be kind; practice gratitude.” When Liz is not leading a class you can find her reading, meditating, or spending quiet moments with her black lab Shadow. Liz loves watching her two grand-daughters grow into amazing young women.
