I believe in the wisdom of the body. Over the years I have learned to listen to my body with reverence and respect for it knows things deeper and wider than my reasoning brain. You can learn to listen to your body too. I believe that we can deepen our presence in the world and in our lives if we hone this capacity for listening and tending our body. I know from my own years of absence that when we show up in and as our body we are more capable and wise in every sense. I believe we can heal our wounds of body, mind and heart with compassion and presence and a fierce softness. My biggest joy is accompanying another in their reclamation process of body, mind and heart. I bring an incredible amount of hard won wisdom, deep curiosity and gentle compassion to the work of presencing another’s pain, love and healing. I have decades of experience in the movement arts of yoga and Continuum, in the mindful arts of meditation and energy healing and am currently training in the powerful body wisdom practice of Somatic Experiencing®. I am an IAYT certified yoga therapist and an ERYT-500 certified yoga teacher and trainer. elizabethrainey.com
