Elizabeth Shanefield is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
In addition to teaching yoga, she opened Sojourn Yoga to build a community of yogis in her neighborhood and share with as many people the benefits of a yoga practice. She has developed her own approach of teaching and practicing through many hours of study, retreats and workshops on yoga and meditation. “Yoga is not just a class I teach or attend but a part of my life and character. Yoga has given me the strength to embrace challenges, take pride in accomplishments and be more present in my daily life. As a result of my practice, I appreciate every breath taken and moment life offers to find joy and compassion for all beings. I am privileged to be able to share my practice and knowledge of yoga with others to help them on their personal journey.”
