I specialize in yoga for athletic performance, recognizing that athletes benefit from a practice that enhances flexibility, balance, and focus while also preventing injury and promoting recovery. My classes are designed to complement an athlete's training regimen by improving functional movement, enhancing breath control, and fostering a deep mind-body connection, understanding the profound impact that past experiences can have on the body and mind. My teaching style is compassionate and inclusive, creating a safe space for everyone to explore their practice without fear or judgment. I always offer modifications and personalized adjustments to ensure that each individual can find their own path to healing and empowerment through yoga. In addition to my expertise in athletic performance, I’m also certified in Yin Yoga, a practice that targets the body's deeper connective tissues and promotes relaxation and mindfulness. Yin Yoga provides a perfect balance to more dynamic styles of yoga, allowing students to slow down, release tension, and develop patience and self-compassion. Drawing on three decades of diverse yoga experience, my instruction blends philosophy, physical practice and introspection, and is designed to inspire students to live their yoga fully. Whether working with professional athletes, individuals seeking to manage stress, or those on a healing journey, I am dedicated to supporting each student's growth and well-being through the timeless teachings of yoga.
