Ellen's work is based on over thirty years of inquiry, experience, practice and study.
Her journey towards health and holistic living started at age 15, after she lost her mom to cancer. She leads workshops, which include conscious nourishment and awakening the creative spirit, through yoga, art and mindfulness. Ellen’s yoga classes include her eclectic teaching style with a strong focus on the effects of the breath on mind, body and spirit. She combines playfulness and positive energy to inspire students to find balance and harmony in daily life. Ellen loves to lead uplifting vinyasa classes with a full spectrum of practices. She specializes in gentle yoga and working with chronic stress, anxiety and depression and leads workshops and classes that address chronic stress in daily life. Ellen is deeply committed to the ancient art of yoga as a vehicle to cultivate awareness and restore balance for the individual and the planet, and as a pathway to the conscious evolution of all beings. She is also committed to a vegan lifestyle as a way to express love and compassion for all beings. Ellen is owner - director of PranaMoon Yoga, Peekskill NY and co-owner and co-director of Karma Road Yoga and Wellness, Briarcliff Manor NY.
